Beauty Reboot
Time for renewal
What a space to be in. Covid-19 Pandemic and sheltering in quarantine. My husband and I were just talking about our very recent, Feb 2020, trip away to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we both agreed that it felt like it happened a lifetime ago. We are all on hold, waiting to see when we can return our lives to normal. The way it was before. But I know it never will be like that for so many people. Personally I have felt so disrupted by this pandemic because the work that I do which is in the entertainment and media industries. And for the first time ever we can’t even go to the movies! I unpacked my makeup kit just the other day, usually all the products I use on location are kept well organized in a cabinet of six drawers. It helps me pack per shoot I work on because I don’t always get booked for the same gig. For example, my special effects makeup doesn’t get packed when I’m doing television studio makeup for MSNBC. So, as I quietly cleaned my brushes and re stocked this cabinet I ached to use my skills again. Like any true artist you have a passion for what you do. I know this will all be over soon, but we have no idea of knowing when.
For so many people this time represents a loss that cannot be replaced like work, or a job. They lost loved ones which is heart breaking. The stories are so sad and how can we not feel that pain along side them? But Death itself can be metaphoric. It can be a shedding of the old before welcoming the new. Letting go of outworn patterns of thinking and even resistance that stops us from moving forward. We can decide how we change things in our lives and consciously accept love, connection, and community. For me that is what I have decided to do now. And more than ever I feel surrounded by women who are creating new ways to share their goals, passions and businesses. I even decided to offer my services with a price tag that is sensitive to what you may be needing.
When this is all over we will be returning to work and our businesses. This is a perfect time for self care, renewal, balance and working on ourselves. To support you right now I have a brand new beauty offer my Beauty Brilliance Session Now more than ever we are online, for news, entertainment and education. We have never been more visible and most of us are using social media accounts like Facebook and Instagram to stay connected. Additionally we are using Zoom and other teleconferencing accounts for webinars and connection. It’s interesting but what I am hearing from my clients is very real. Things like: “I don’t like the way I look on camera” to ” I feel really washed out and pale”. But there are things you can do to look better, my clients are LOVING me even more right now. Why don’t we work together on your beauty style and grooming for those teleconference calls?
I believe that beauty doesn’t have to be complicated or take a long time to do. If you subscribe to my video tutorials you will see how easy I make it. Beautyphonics strives to educate and empower women who dare to shine!
